We have frequent outdoor activities during the week, whether it be in the park, on an excursion or exploring the local forests. We learn to move with confidence, controlling our bodies and handling equipment that improves small and large motor skills. Emphasis is placed on science, with many opportunities to conduct our own experiments. We explore the world around us, both on a local and global scale. We develop an understanding of maths through stories, songs, games, imaginative play and manipulative materials, and become comfortable with numbers and with mathematical ideas, such as ‘bigger’ or ‘less than’, and discover shape, space and pattern. We encourage seeing the purpose of written language and to experiment with it. We learn to talk confidently and clearly, enjoying stories, songs and poems in both English and German with mother-tongue staff members. We emphasise play as a way of creatively exploring relationships and our social environment. We encourage independence and self-discipline, so that we can approach life with confidence, enthusiasm and an awareness of self and others. Our curriculum covers six broad areas of learning and development:

Our holistic approach to education focuses on the well-being and development of the whole child. Our Küsnacht location, on the outskirts of Zurich, is well placed to meet the needs of both international and Swiss families in the area.

In August 2016 Cadbury launched Dinky Deckers as part of the Bite Size bag range which are mini Cadbury Double Deckers available in a 120g pouch bag.We are a leading bilingual preschool, offering a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children aged 18-months till Kindergarten age. At the time it was distinctly aimed at males, and featured in Coronation Street credits during 2004. This chocolate bar was essentially a Double Decker with nuts contained within the nougat layer however, it has since been discontinued. There also existed a 'Double Decker – Nuts' launched in 2004, which had the advertising slogan "crispy, crunchy, chewy and nutty". The Double Decker no longer contains hydrogenated oil. It typically contains 9.9g of fat, 38g of carbohydrates, 2.3g of protein and 1060kJ (250kcal) of energy.

This increased from 42g in the 1970s and 51g in the 1980s, to a peak of 60g before attaining the current weight. The bar has a mass of approximately 54.5g although multipack bars are smaller at 37.3g. Television adverts in the 1970s featured Willie Rushton before a mascot named Dougie the Double Decker Dog was introduced. Originally the bar contained raisins within the base layer however, consumer research in the mid-1980s led to these being removed and the current formulation being introduced. The chocolate bar is structured in two layers a lightly-whipped nougat layer, with a lower layer of cereal 'crispies', these are then coated in milk chocolate. This has proved to be a very popular recipe, being used in cakes and other confections. It is a mixture of milk chocolate, nougat, and crisp, crunchy cereal. First introduced in the UK in 1976, its name derives from the well-known double-decker bus, with the buses themselves sometimes appearing in advertisements for the product. Double Decker is a British brand of chocolate bar currently manufactured by Cadbury.
